High School Summer Catechesis

Loving My Neighbor

Living as a Disciple of Jesus

Living as a disciple of Jesus calls for action, requires reflection, and leads to transformation based on Gospel values. Join us as we apply these values to the issues of today and learn what we can do now to help those in need and to transform our communities. Registration is a MUST and there is reading material to read prior to attending these sessions.

Tuesday, June 17, 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, June 18, 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m.

Both sessions will be held at Holy Family

Thursday, June 19, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This session will begin at Our Lady of the Meadows and travel to Los Pobres to help with Migrant Worker Program and return back to the Meadows

This is a 2 credit session.

The Church

Each and every Catholic is a member of the Body of Christ, which is the community that is continuing Jesus' work here on earth. We all play a role, we are all important. Join us as we learn more about the Church and its role in the world and our lives. Registration is a MUST and there is reading material to read prior to attending these sessions.

Liturgy and Sacraments

What's your worldview? Have you ever considered your Catholic worldview? Our Catholic worldview is sacramental in nature-creation, Jesus, the Church, and the seven sacraments point us beyond ourselves and connect us to the sacred. Join us a we explore our Catholic way of looking at the world. Registration is MUST and there is reading material to read prior to attending these sessions.

Summer Retreat

This retreat is for incoming 9th Grade teens. The teens will be able to gather with other teens that have successfully made the transition into high school. It is a great way to meet other young teens who will be in high school with you.
